Tech Support

Yesterday I agreed to go on a date with someone from the online dating site.  Nice man, just didn't feel any sort of chemistry.  He worked as a tech support guy for the local cable company and his claim to fame was that he's "they guy who takes care of people's cable problems in 3-4mins after they've been on hold around the world for about 45minutes." Again. Nice guy....but his photo on the site really didn't match too well with what he looked like in real life.  I should've known he'd be kinda....umm tech supporty in his appearence.

Anyways....the date was a casual late lunch at a chain restaurant. My food was delicious....and now that I think of it....so was the bartender....

So it was a flop....but I wasn't disappointed because the conversation was at least interesting despite zero bit of chemistry. I will not be seeing him for a second date, but I did appreciate lunch & realizing that I have more to talk about than being a flight attendant.  I am so bored with men who just want to talk about me being a flight attendant.....as this one did for half the date.

So....Next up is a quick trip home to see my Dad for New Years Weekend, followed by an inevitably insane 3 days in Vegas with one of my co-workers. And back east for my sorority sister's Winter Wonderland Wedding.

After all of this- the vacation will be over & back to flying Monday-Friday...and half-blind dating Fri-Sun!
