Shoes, Seatbelts Please, and Dentists

I don't know why I titled this entry like that.  There really isn't too much to write about each of those things.  A quiet 2 day trip really.

I bought new shoes for work last week.  They are the same brand that I have been wearing for the last 6 months, and they finally made a uniform "compliant" shoe instead of the non-compliant wedge shoe that I have been able to get away with for the last 6 months :)  I decided to give it a shot since the wedge has been discontinued (y!!!!)....wedge is more comfy! BUT I did last a whole day in my new shoes....they are kinda in pain, but I think that's just because my feet hate heels and I didn't get my Dr. Scholls inserts.  I do suggest this shoe though.

The captain we were flying with had this habit of turning off the seatbelt sign and then saying "Seatbelts Please" afterwards.  It was odd really.  He should have just said "This is the voice of God....SIT DOWN"  People who get out of their seats while the seatbelt sign is on- is my biggest pet peeve.  But i'm sure their peeve is when the sign isn't turned off at all during the flight. Anyways....

I decided it would be cute of me to take the first flight Wednesday to the west coast to see the bf for a few hours and take the redeye home that same day.  Wrong!  He told me he has a follow-up dentist appointment to finish up the work he had started a few weeks ago.  It is getting to be frustrating trying to figure out when we get to see each other next.  But at least we get to talk to each other everyday, which helps a lot. But its driving me INSANE looking at my schedule next month and trying to figure out when we can see each other.....I need to adopt his approach of "one week at a time. we'll see each other sooner than later I promise"

I am a planner.  I have about 3 calendars.  Google, BB, and a regular one that i write on....which now has my schedule in blue and his days circled in green....with the days our work paths cross- in pink.  Next month I better go with pink for me, blue for him, and the obvious purple for when we get together. OCD?? Blame that one of the ex.....
