"You're A Tough Little Lady"

We have this US Airways Captain that flies on my flights all the time to get to work, who I'm sure has been flying since even my mother was born!  I would venture to guess that he was hired with Sully, and if it had been him instead of Sully....the outcome would've been similar.  ANYWAYS....the blog post title is his response when I told him yesterday about the insanity that has been my life since March 27th.  This entry is the more detailed version of what I told him "I worked for 4 days, had 2 days off and went to Seattle, then worked 6 days and this is my 6th leg of day 6....i have tomorrow off and begin 4 more days on friday"

Call me Crazy....But it was worth it!
I worked what we call "A Back to back 2 day" (aka...a 2 day trip followed by a 2 day trip) then I had 2 days off.  The boyfriend was off and on the West Coast.  I finished the 2nd of the 2 days at about 10pm and decided I would wake up and fly to Seattle and back on my days off.  But you live on the east coast, you say?  Yes I do.  I had to wake up at 330am to catch my commuter flight into a hub city to catch a flight to Denver.  THEN I had to wait in Denver for 3 hours and then jumpseat to Seattle.  He picked me up and took me to lunch along the water near the market.  The weather could not have been more perfect!  It was like a movie.  After lunch I was able to meet one of his sisters and one of his brothers (big family btw) who are awesome.  I woke up the next morning and took the first flight east...then only made it back into base because a commuting pilot took the flight deck jumpseat to give me a seat in the cabin (thank you thank you thank you!)

On the 7th day- We Rest!
Following the insane measures to see my boyfriend, was a two-day trip, followed by a LONG day trip on Easter (Holiday Pay!!) and then an enjoyable 3 day trip.  Actually the 6 days went really fast, even though the seem like forever ago!!  I went to Hooters for the first time EVER on one of my overnights.....they make the best grilled cheese btw!  I was kept awake in my hotel by frat boys who had their formal there (I call it karma for how obnoxious we were at our own sorority formals and as dates to fraternity formals in college...) On another overnight I was able to have dinner with my cousin and his wife.

What to do with my day off?  Absolutely nothing if I can help it!
