Oh Canada!

Montreal....the hotel is amazing actually.  Very tech friendly!  My biggest pet peeve is not having a plug for my laptop and/or cell charger next to the bed....Idon't have to worry about that here.

I have been working on a few Graphic Design projects that aren't really any sort of official projects at all.  Since I have not worked in the feild since graduation, I am working really hard to build my portfolio in attempt at busting outta this aviation joint.  I have been applying and submitting resumes all over the place and it is disappointingly frustrating to keep getting rejected.  This whole process is just as stressful as it was 2 years ago when I graduated college.

I am at a point in my life where I want to start settling down. That does not mean i want to start having babies tomorrow.  I just know that I need to do what I set out to do- be a graphic designer.  I know that I eventually want to get married and start a family- being a flight attendant makes that extremely challenging.

Before becoming a flight attendant, I had only one passion- design.  I never knew I would fall so deeply in love with the world of aviation.  Flight fascinates me- the actually flying part, not the passengers and the airline garbage- beyond what I ever imagined. If I could find a job where I were able to be a graphic designer in the aviation industry.....I would be in heaven....or at least on Cloud 9.

My strengths are text, color, and layout.  My weaknesses are lack of professional experience, and limited experience with printing process, web design and multi-media...

Soooo I'll continue to whore out my resume and portfolio until I land a job.  The boyfriend seems to think I'll get something by the end of the summer.  I love how encouraging he is of me to follow my passion.
