To be or not to be...

I often think- nobody read this crap!  I forget that just because my list of followers, comments, and responses on Twitter may be few & far between- there are people out there who do read it.  Staying anonymous has been the intent from the beginning.  I work in a very small base (the drama in my base is enough for its own blog really but I digress) where people talk.  It would be different if some of my co-workers' objectives in life were to uplift people and encourage them- not write emails, take pictures, and do any & everything possible to get other co-workers fired.

It has recently come to my attention by a co-worker that I have a blog & the whole base knows about it.   But what's being said is not quite true.  What is being said is that I have a blog where I bitch about my co-workers and vent about my passengers. Is it?

Here's what I would like my co-workers to know: I'd like to think that we are one of the most professional groups of flight attendants out there.  We can never have enough knowledge about our profession & knowledge comes with experience.  Most of what I've learned about customer service was in retail & restaurants before coming to the airlines- everything else I learned by reading the crazy stories of other flight attendants.

Due to recent events involving other flight attendants that I work with: all of my online activity is being watched by my company. I was guilty by association. It was assumed that my association would result in similar situations, compromising the reputation of my company. At this point- they've already seen what there is to see....so there is no point in removing posts. My company would have contacted me long ago for anything posted that could result in my termination...Twitter is private now & only approved followers can follow my tweets. I'm sorry.

As with the last several Blog Posts, you will continue to read stories that seem outrageous with my tips for both travelers & flight attendants, my opinions about recent aviation events, travel tips, and a little bit of my dating life- after all. I am the Flying Bachelorette.

P.S.-And whoever it is that's spreading the rumors that I'm just here to bitch & complain about my job. If you look hard enough in the blogosphere you'll find plenty of that, but not here.  It won't take you long to find that I'm not the only flight attendant blogger....
