For April....I asked for a reserve schedule. My Twitter followers were ready to confirm my insanity, but I reassured everyone that it wouldn't be so bad. So far- it hasn't, but then again we're only 4 days into the month. With my middle of the base seniority list bidding....I had to make sure I could get my days off for my trip to Spain with Mr. Ultimate.
Today is Day4 of reserve.....and so far I've been sitting pretty. I drove to Mr. Ultimate's house on Friday night to spend the week at his house before he heads off to Germany with his mother this week. Despite the risk of a 90minute call-out when I'm 80minutes away from base- Reserve has been amazing for the relationship. The two of us have been able to be together during the week instead of weekends & function like a semi-normal couple.
We've determined that reserve might be the perfect balance for me to design & fly....sooo now all I need to do is get some work done!
