Next Please....

Last night I went over to the cater/waiter's place to watch TV and just hang out. Major Fail on his part. Look I'll be honest, I'm not totally into him- But I was trying to give him a chance.  Online dating is kinda weird to begin with because you don't know the person and there's no mutual friend in common. So it takes a little extra time to get to know if there's really chemistry....

Okay no. That's a load of crap & we all know it.  You know if there's chemistry or not in the first 3 dates.  I think with this guy there's chemistry- but not the right kind.  Like he's nice and a cool guy but he's convenient. He's available. He's there.  Maybe I'm being too critical of the situation- so I decided to keep seeing him and see if maybe something would spark.  No. Last night was it for me.  It was awkward.  We watched a movie & I fell asleep at the end.  He didn't wake me up or anything. He left the TV blaring and the living room lights on, put a blanket on me and went to bed in his comfy bed.

I woke up a bunch of times throughout the night & was just wondering if I should just leave?  Then in the morning the sun blared through the windows at 7am (so much for sleeping in) and then I hear him up & about and on the phone so I decide I can get up and get moving.  I wait for 30 minutes for him to get off the phone...and he doesn't. So I just left.  He was outside talking to someone (he told me just now that it was the cable company) He tried to pull me in for a kiss/hug whatever and I just was like...I gotta go.

I was only kinda into him and really trying too hard to like him more.  The bottom line is that he's not meant for me....I'm well into the 2nd half of my twenties. I want to find a man to share my life with, start a family, and all that happy stuff.  This guy has NO ambition it seems...Didn't finish college & waits tables in my town to pay his bills...nothing wrong with that- but he has NO plan whatsoever for his future.

Soo......next please.

P.S.- I read Bobby's book yesterday while working......and you should go to his website and buy it. He does a great job telling his flight attendant stories in a way that non-aviation readers can find it entertaining & flight crews nod in agreement because we've been there!  A lot of his passenger stories are so outrageous yet- we know they are true because just when we think we've seen everything- we are shocked and amused.  I loved it cover to cover! Go Buy "Planely Speaking" by Bobbie Laurie!
